Ashe is one incredibly attractive girl. Her figure is actually perfect for her with the right sized boobs that are not too big or small, but right. Her face has a cute yet confident look that begins to get more and more depraved as the movie rolls on. One added detail that I loved the artist did was how her skin would change. As the action gets hot and heavy, her body begin getting sweaty, covered in a shiny glaze. It’s an excellent touch as it’s really rare to see characters get that extra layer of sweat on them. Only real negative is that we don’t get to see a clear view of her body. Either clothing or her position blocks what could possibly one very sexy girl. There was another girl at the beginning who looked great as well. But her only purpose was to betray the heroine and nothing else. A little disappointing we didn’t get to see her get participate.
Graphically, this is one of the best looking titles you’ll ever see. For some artists, it seems like they have downgrade their quality when they’re animating due to how long the process take, but it seems as if KOB really wanted to bring out the best possible, which we’re thankful for. The graphics are really what you expect to see on a AAA-title video game or theatrical film. The cave area is detailed nicely and has an open feel to it. The creature basically is the brother of Jar Jar Binks. Scaly skin, flappy ear, and a similar body shape. He looks eerily similar to the point where I was hoping he would speak in a high-pitched voice.
The sound is pretty good for the most part. The audio sounds very high-def as it sounds complete clear. The voice acting is a strong mark as professional work was done to truly provide a major feel to the movie. Also, touches were made for the sex objects’ sounds. The vibrator sounds like a vibrator and the power drill device really hits with such power as the buzzing noise syncs perfectly well with the movement. The creature’s voice is very similar to the villainous character in hentai, giving off a dark yet cocky voice. Ashe starts off great. She has the strong confident voice you expect from a hero, but during the sex scenes, the voice becomes painful to listen to. It sounds almost whiny and was a real turnoff for me. Another thing is while the sounds are great, it feels hallow. Some faint background music would’ve ease this problem and really set the mood for each sequence.
Animation is really smooth. This could easily be the most high-quality 3DX animation you’ll ever see. There’s no visible loop points, the animation moves in real time, and characters have realistic movement (like being motion capture), so you don’t have a stiff arm or extreme contorting. KOB really put a lot of love into this as it’s pitch-perfect with a lot of great touches. The vibrator and power drill dildo shake violently and quickly. Ashe’s body twitches and shakes at random moments. Voice movement sync with the audio. A lot of these things really add to the animation and greatly help bring the experience to a full circle.
This is really disappointing. Dalmascan Night lacks strong sex scenes, focusing mainly on the foreplay (power drill dildo anyone?) and a scat scene (eww). When they do get to the actual fucking, it only lasts about 4 minutes and even then, it’s okay not spectacular. KOB tries to fit so much action in that short period that it becomes rapid fire and you don’t get to appreciate what’s happening. While I understand the movie is short, coming in at 20 minutes, it’s still not enough especially when you spend triple the time on the foreplay. There are bonus scene featuring penetration, but they’re too horrifying and don’t really add much to it.
If it wasn’t for the fact that the graphics, animation and sound were awesome, then this wouldn’t have high marks on the score. This movie really reminds me of a lot of a randomly hyped video game: It’s got the best graphics you’ll ever see, the animations are high quality, the story is awesome and they have A-List movie stars doing the voice work. But when you start playing it, all those don’t matter if the gameplay is bad. I felt the artist put a large amount of focus on everything else but when it came down to the actual fucking, it seemed arbitrary. And I was disappointed because of that. Unless you really love KOB’s works, then I wouldn’t recommend this.
