Black Adder has been a featured artist on both Affect3d and Renderotica.  While the quality of his work speaks for itself, Miro had the chance to interview him a few months ago.  You can read our exclusive interview with Blackadder here.

It’s no secret that Gisella Moretti is a parody of Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider video game series.  In this adventure, Gisella is hot on the trail of a certain “Dr. Jones” (snicker snicker) who may have been involved in her parent’s death.She’s joined by her sexy new assistant Jenny, and the two of them wind up being thrown into a deep cave by the evil Dr. Jones to face a myriad of sexual pleasures and horrors within until being led to freedom by a tiny gremlin named Guido… who bears a striking resemblance to Smeagol from “The Lord of the Rings” films.The comic is presented as a 70-page PDF in excellent hi-res and picture perfect clarity.  While 70 pages is usually more than enough for an erotic comic; sadly, too many pages are wasted on storytelling and we’re left with only three sex scenes.

WOW!  A ten point scale simply is not high enough to recognize the exquisite design of Adder’s characters.  Giselle and Jenny are photo-realistic, have curves to die for, and feature a variety of lovingly crafted outfits.Level of detail is extremely high; masterfully demonstrated by the girl’s hair, makeup, and skin tones.  I also can’t get over how amazing their clothes look; hugging and creasing against their voluptuous bodies in all the right places.The quality of the male characters is a little more varied, where the humans look ideal, the monsters are unimpressive.  The orcs aren’t big and imposing enough when paired with the girls, and the Smeagol look-alike is just plain creepy.

Since this is a comic book, there is no audio.  Therefore I’ll use this section of the review to comment on the text and dialogue.Even in the first few pages, one can see that the writer is probably using English as a second language.  Both the text and dialogue are stilted; lacking conversational quality, and maintaining an air of formality that is inappropriate for an erotic parody like this.Technically speaking, there are some common mistakes in subject-verb agreement, but no obvious spelling errors.  The font used is too small and the dialogue bubbles are packed far too tightly for comfortable reading.  As a result, I pretty much abandoned the story after the first few pages.The text and dialogue does not improve during the sex scenes either; still sounding too stiff and formal to be erotic.

Adder uses photographs to create much of the background and environment scenes.  That is a common tactic for comic artists these days, but it suits Adder’s work particularly well due to the exquisite realism of his rendered characters.Despite the quality of his renders, I’m disappointed that Adder did not seem to challenge the limits of his models; the choreography during sex is rather basic and utilitarian.  Additionally there are few action/fighting scenes… quite a disappointment considering the “Tomb Raider” archetype.

This one is a keeper simply because of the amazing character design, and ultimately it may become the first of many more exciting adventures for Gisella Moretti.  I sure hope that Adder continues this series, because I am eager to see more action!However, by itself this comic falls short in a few critical ways; there is too much text, and not enough sex.  With 70 pages to fill there should have been more than just 3 scenes, and each of those should have filled several more pages.

Hot girls drop down a hole, play around with each other a bit, then get fucked by some monsters.  It’s suitable storyline for an erotic comic, except that the girls spend WAY too much time wandering around talking instead of getting good and properly fucked.  For that, this title would be a lot worse if the girls weren’t rendered so incredibly hot that I want to lick the monitor!This is one to pick up, in the hopes that Adder will continue he series.  However one should be ready to accept that this is Giselle’s debut story, and there is a lot of exposition to deal with.  Hopefully in the next adventure, this voluptuous vixen will learn to shut the hell up and suck some cock!
