We’re back with the latest episode of the Affect3D video tutorial series! In this series we’re teaching you the basics of Daz Studio from a 3DX perspective. This month, we talk about one of the most unnoticed ways of making a girl look good: lights! Following up on this week’s 3DX artist guide where we talked about the idea behind lighting a person, in this video we’ll show you how to set up 3-point lighting for your character. Getting her camera-ready is easier than you think, but it does require a bit of finesse! We’ll also gloss briefly over the Iray render engine, as all light settings that we use are specific to the engine we render our ladies with.
