So, every person who works on this site has certain fetishes or sexual turn-ons. In miro’s case, you have girls with big racks and even bigger cocks. With The Dude, there’s girls gussied up in pink. Marie has a love for the hard dick. While I have mentioned a desire for exhibitionism and public sex, it’s not as strong as one other fetish, one that’s also as…risky as it is risqué.
Let’s talk about monster sex and monster 3DX, shall we?
Yesterday, 3DX artist Dizzydills dropped a trailer of sorts for his next project, an animated continuation of his Secrets of the Pharaoh series. You can find the trailer here. From a technical standpoint, both miro and I agreed that it was quality animation at work.
It brings up the larger question: Why isn’t there more monster 3DX out there?
The Great Potential of 3DX
I was drawn to 3DX not because of dickgirls, but because of monsters. As I’ve said in the past, my gateway to 3DX was from the Stormbringer era, particularly the likes of Drone447 and Gonzo. I’m fond of the classic animation The Princess Comes of Age. It’s hard to explain what makes monster appealing to me. But perhaps it’s just the mere sight of a girl enthralled while in the embrace of a bizarre creature or smattering of tentacles that is extremely arousing, showing she can enjoy sex with whatever she wants.
Moreover, there’s a greater artistic potential that comes with creating monster 3DX. It’s one thing to make a male or even somewhat humanoid male using current assets from Daz. But to create a monster or an alien or other creature, you often have to build something from scratch, including its skeleton (so that it can move properly). That takes talent and creativity, the likes of which we don’t usually see in more vanilla forms of 3DX. I admire great efforts that go into creating these fine creatures, developing something unique for the girls to play with and enjoy. In essence, you can be very stylish without having to lose realism in the process. You can also afford to be very artistic, regardless of your style.
Of course, with my favorite fetish comes…issues. For one, a lot of monster porn is non-consensual, which is a big turn-off in my book. There’s also another problem with the monster scene in general that we’ll get to in a moment. Still, there are a lot of artists who are phenomenal at providing quality 3DX artists of girls fucking aliens or other creatures and having fun while doing so.
Dizzydills in particular I’m fond of. One of his old archived sets, Consentacle with Sylvia, was based on an idea I pitched to him. That he continues to do prominent work and builds many of his creatures from scratch shows the passion and creativity he has in the field. And it is rare to see girls having this much fun with it. It’s part of the reason I started posting free stories in his forums based on his characters.
There are others in the field who do great work. Jessica Anner, a skilled animator, primarily focuses on monster dickgirls. While unusual, the combination of monster and dickgirl actually works really well in this situation, and there’s a liveliness to the work that even miro can appreciate. On top of that, you have regulars on our site such as Jared999D, 3DZen, and others who at least partly partake in monstrous activities.
Creating is the Hardest Thing To Do
So why is there less monster 3DX? And why – in our case – is it rather…tame?
The first and second question have a lot of different answers that explain both. One is the limitations of 3DX itself. Unlike 2D art, where you don’t have to worry about anatomy even at a human level, 3D art faces the issue of posing. As The Dude mentions in his tutorials, every model in 3D posing must have a rigging, which is basically a skeleton. That’s what helps it move.
Given most models are human or humanoid, you often have to build your tentacle creatures or abominations from scratch. Most artists don’t have the time or patience to do that, so they buy models or related assets…except not many people are willing to make those assets, and those that do tend to be not the best. I’ve had more than one 3DX artist tell me they would do monster or tentacle. Of course, they also say there’s little in the way of good assets on those fronts. So you have a paradox here.
The Animal in the Room
Then there’s the Z word, one that is an issue in regular monster porn as well. I’m talking about zoophilia. On a very very technical standpoint, monster porn as a whole qualifies as this; for “any sex between a human and non-human” is the standard definition of this term. That means elves, robots, aliens, and other creatures are in the same league as regular animals. The law is very messy in this regard; as I have no legal expertise, I cannot say what is or isn’t true. What I can say is, from a business standpoint, it’s hard for us to even sell “tame” stuff because banks and financial institutions that dictate whether we can accept money from their customers tend to err on the side of caution a little intensely.
Of course, it’s not just us that has to deal with this. It’s any artist who takes a business stance by setting up a subscription site or something similar. One prominent 2D artist who runs a subscription site got told by her payment processor that she was conditionally allowed to post tentacle stuff. That meant they could revoke that ability at any time for any reason.
It doesn’t help that many artists who do monster skirt the line or straight-up do this sort of thing regardless. That we cannot defend, even for those we like. Some artists will take an attitude to this, but all they’re doing is being unhelpful.
Some will point to crowdfunding sites such as Patreon and mini-stores such as Gumroad or Sendowl; they turn a blind eye to such things. Perhaps that is good for artists who maintain a small operation. But if they want to go big, they’ll hit a brick wall.
Beautiful Creatures
All of this, of course, doesn’t change my love for monster 3DX. If I had choice between, say, writing a sequel to Girlfriends 4 Ever and an animation that involves a beautiful girl embracing the company of various monsters, I would choose the latter. That would probably surprise miro, but I know where I stand. It would be wonderful if we had more monster 3DX, for it would greatly demonstrate the potential of the medium. Moreover, such diversity strengthens 3DX as a whole.
As said, our hands are tied. If I had it my way, we’d have a far more prominent selection of monster products alongside our fine dickgirl porn. We’d also promote artists in the field more frequently. But we play the hand we have. Perhaps someday soon, monster 3DX will be something for everyone to enjoy.

April 26, 2017I love monster 3dx, I find regular porn and 3dx porn with normal men boring…….there is something more exciting with monsters with lovely females. 3dx exists in the realm of fantasy where anything is possible…and everything is acceptable. 3dx is art, some of it is great.,….there is even bad classical music, just as there is classical music that touches my soul. The same holds true in 3dx.

March 4, 2017Great article Andi!
I really appreciate the topic and the motivation for the writing. Monsters/Aliens etc with beautiful human or elf women is what initially got me into 3DX to begin with. Fullytank and Chimera46’s artwork opened my eyes to a form of entertainment that I didn’t know existed but I immediately realized that it was just the kind of thing I was looking for. Then discovering Dizzy’s work a few years ago was like…wow….this is exactly my fetish. I’ve never had an interest in beastiality or anything like that, it’s simply something that I think belongs in fantasy and fiction in some form, but not real life. Even then, girls with normal animals still don’t really do anything for me in 3DX. That is exactly why I like monster 3DX so much. The monsters can often be very human like, and allow the viewer to imagine themselves in their place, or the monster can be so far removed from reality, like a tentacle monster, that we just get to see something purely unique.
Ever since hitting puberty and growing up playing lots of video games, watching anime, reading fantasy novels that are all full of super hot (usually half naked) females that are battling orcs and goblins and all I ever thought was….why are they trying to kill her? If I was an orc, I’d take her back to my cave and fuck the hell out of her.
It’s hard to say exactly what makes it so appealing, but I think a lot of it has to do with 3 things. 1). I like the “Beauty and Beast contrast. There is something appealing to me about the combination of a large powerful monster or alien that isn’t necessarily nice to look at in the traditional sense, but has a significant presence in their own way. That works well matched with a gorgeous idealized woman that anyone would want to have sex with. Maybe it’s because sex is such a physical thing and in a fantasy/fiction setting, we naturally want to take things to an extreme. 2). The second reason ties into the first. If you are a woman that is incredibly hot and sexy, why would you have sex with an ugly or scary monster? The monster needs to be able to provide something a handsome human male can’t. Most of the time, what they offer is a huge penis and the sexual prowess to fuck the woman in a way that no human male could ever dream of matching, and for me, seeing a woman being genuinely satisfied is super sexy in any kind of porn, especially when she is satisfied to the point where its almost too much for her to handle. 3). In my opinion, the third major appeal is that I have a choice between 3DX and real porn….so why watch a digital man and girl when I can see the real thing with even less effort and more variety. Ultimately, I do typically prefer real people porn to 3DX without a fantasy or sci-fi setting. So monsters, aliens, and other fictional creatures are largely the only reason I care about 3DX at all.
Lastly, dickgirls of any kind don’t appeal to me at all. There are a ton of really talented artists that make futa or similar artwork, and I know a lot of people like it. Which is cool, but I personally can’t stand the sight of a hot girl with a dick stuck to her crotch. But seeing a hot girl stuffed with a big dick is pretty essential to good porn, so that’s where the monsters come in. They provide a sexual fetish that real porn can’t offer, they serve as the embodiment of a purely testosterone filled super fucking machine partnered with the types of females that most men only dream about.
I try to always purchase the sets that feature monster sex or similar styles on Affect3D. I feel like that is the best way to encourage more of that style. Voting with your wallet is the best way to support the folks making the artwork.
Thanks again Andi, great job.

March 4, 2017I’ve been thinking for some time now that the potential for 3DX is woefully ignored. I’m an erotic writer and my real name and my author name is Carl East. I’ve been writing stories about Futagirls for some time now and I’ve had several ideas for a collaboration but without doubt the best idea would be to have an artist do a comic style story based on one of my audio stories, of which I have dozens. Each picture would describe what the narrator was saying and staying on screen long enough for the next narrated piece to take place. Basically it would be an audio graphic Futagirl comic. If the first one made money we’d be set for a while as I have many others to follow up with. I can’t help thinking that such a comic would be both original and desired by fans of the genre.

March 4, 2017So many different ideas. Monsters are the best and ugly is perfect. Got to admit people end up loving some pretty ugly pets in the real world. Though our heroine’s first reaction is to run and to never even consider having sex with these ugly brutes it seems that in a lot of scenarios after cumming hard and finding out they just had the best sex of their lives, true respect blooms. At least that is the artist ideal. This all goes to show we are very confused individuals that don’t have a clue what we really want till we try it. Sad to hear about our upright moral society spreading the fear in a medium they should support

March 4, 2017Okay, after reading this I want to make sure I’m clear on some things. First, if I was to make monster 3DX, with say botanical beings or orcs, ect. I could not sell the photo sets here or else where? I had a great idea for an entire series I was going to submit as my first 3DX creation and I feel I just got hit with a crotch shot!

March 5, 2017Well, there in lies the trick: You may call orcs “monsters,” but they’re not really “monsters” in the strictest sense of the term. They’re humanoids based from high fantasy concepts. That, for the most part, is acceptable.
What I discuss here isn’t about “those” types of monsters. It’s the…less human-looking form of monster or alien. They don’t necessarily have to look like anything to be less acceptable.
As for tentacles, that can be hit or miss. We sell tentacle stuff here at our store, but elsewhere it can be different. You just have to pay attention, you know?

March 4, 2017My primary objection with monster porn is the “instinct” seen in a lot of artists to make the monsters as … grotesque … as possible, to the point where you have to question the mental faculties/capabilities of the females involved. Diseased and rotting flesh monster As Male does not evince thoughts of “oooh, I hope she loves banging that!” but rather “woman do you NOT HAVE EYES?!?”
Of course, that often goes hand in hand with the disparities of male/female in a lot of erotic art. The women are stunningly beautiful and the males are … afterthoughts.

March 5, 2017I recall once an interview with a Japanese noise rock musician, who was discussing the definition of “noise.” I’m paraphrasing what he said, but his response was, “Well, that is what you yourself view noise as. To me, what people call pop music is noise. What you call “noise” I consider to be my pop music.”
Calling something “grotesque” is an utterly subjective thing, since it’s a matter of visual perception. I mean, we’re a site whose primary niche has been dickgirls. There are many many people – especially guys – who look at girls like Sayako with their inhuman-sized cocks and say “That’s DISGUSTING!” If you scroll up, you’ll see a commenter making a similar point. From a certain standpoint, our efforts to make these super-feminine girls with massive racks and 16-inch penises is as much a grotesquerie as a girl mounting a Lovecraftian creature with rotting flesh.
It’s important to have perspective on these things. That is the nature of fetishes, after all.

March 4, 2017Yep, that’s why I normally prefer tentacles in these cases. Or other kind of creatures like succubus (with horns, different skin, wings, etc), ogres and such. But a horse right away gives me a “YUCK” impression, because I just can’t imagine someone actually getting pleasure with that XD
Anyway, I think that’s the point of the fetishes: for some people is like a magical turn-on; for others is like an instant NO-NO.
Dianaranda
March 4, 2017On some level i agree, sometimes it is a bit to wierd.
But! having such incredibly ugly monsters, make the girl stand out even more, atleast it does in my eyes.
I see it as a sort of contrast, you need darkness for light, and for light there has to be darkness.
So having a really ugly monster makes the girl stand out much more, atleast that is my opinion on it.
Dianaranda
March 4, 2017Definately in the same boat, though i dont really have a problem with non-con at all, as long as it aint…i dunno to Gruestome.
For me the first time i really started to enjoy monsters with girls was with Svarogsplace. http://www.pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=1124977

March 4, 2017I get what you’re saying. A lot of people are drawn into monster because of that. Where consent is more ambiguous, I’m okay with it. It’s when it’s clear that NC is the case that get eeeeh about it.
Svarog is someone I do appreciate for making monster work, though he just came and went, and his stuff did not age well at all. The limits of Victoria 2, I suppose.
Bones12x2
March 4, 2017I feel a little conflicted about non-con as well. One of the things I like about Dizzy’s work is he generally strays away from that, but I’d be lying if I said I haven’t really enjoy several sets from other artists that are definitely less than mutual consent.
I think the most important factor is how the monster treats the girl wants he starts fucking her and how far the aggression goes. As long as the overall experience results in the female feeling pleasure in the process, then I generally don’t mind if it’s forceful to begin with, sometimes it even makes the set more interesting.
For example, I wouldn’t enjoy a set where a big orc finds a sexy elf and ends up hurting her or becomes overly abusive in the process of satisfying only himself. On the flip side, I’d be okay with a set where a sexy elf was captured by an orc that ties her up. She resists at first, but he fucks her in a way that gave her multiple orgasms and when he is done, she is thinking, wow…I wasn’t planning on being fucked by an orc today, but I actually enjoyed it.
Dianaranda
March 4, 2017Well for me even with total NC i am somewhat Okish, Though overall when it comes to NC, it is hard to define the line for me as to when it is not Ok, and when it is?
As for Svarogs stuff, yes, It is so sad he came, made some awesome fantasies and then dissapeared from the scene to not return.
Same with Fullytank btw, which is another one of my favourites.
Coming back to the article though.
I understand where the payment processors come from but i completely disagree with them, specially as with 3DX there isnt a real person at all involved, so it bassically “victimless” and completely not real.
But i am glad Patreon is around, the only thing i really hate is that i would have to start to donate to ten or twenty or more artists, just to see there content.
And i am not Ok with that at all, though ofcourse i dont mind paying for individual whole sets, but to pay for access hell no, i feel that belongs in the 90s and early 2000’s internet, and not at all on the modern internet, paywalls are silly.
