One of the main appeals of 3DX is its ability to defy reality and make fantasies come true. Dickgirls are a prime example, but there are many others as well… You can get unrealistic bodies, monster sex, zoophilia, cum inflation, and the list goes on and on and on. You can also use 3DX to make the perfect body for your tastes, and match it with any voice or “personality” you like to create the ideal woman or man — no need to hire an A-list porn star when you can recreate one with animation. And, bonus, you don’t have to worry about getting actors together, nor having the right equipment, scheduling, or safe sex practices for a shoot. Logistics, travel expenses, doctor visits – suddenly non-issues. 3DX lets you create remotely, on your own, with actually strong production values. It gets even better when you bring a variety of skilled artists together.
And you never have to see each other in person.
Despite the versatility of 3DX, “typical hetero porn” is a minority section of the genre. Fantasy and fetish porn are common to the point of making “typical hetero” one of the ‘niche’ genres of 3DX. Is this because fantasy sex lovers are pushed toward 3DX because they can’t get their dreams in reality anyway? Or because “typical hetero porn” consumers aren’t bringing their wallets to 3DX? Obviously it’s a mix of both (and some other elements).
So, how could hetero 3DX become more appealing, and thus more widely created and consumed? As with all markets, it’s a matter of creating demand or attracting demand.
There’s already a very large audience out there for hetero porn. The tricky part is that it’s centered on live action porn. That’s a different sort of product and experience than “cartoon porn”, and that’s not going to change. For some people, they are roughly equivalent, and for others, each one has some relative positives to the other, but many simply prefer live action to animated (and vice versa). That’s a sexy preference that isn’t going to simply be surmounted by availability of content.
There are ostensibly plenty of porn consumers who are simply unaware of the 3DX marketplace. Personally, I wasn’t aware of any larger 3DX community until relatively recently in my life. Not knowing the quality or quantity of content out there meant I wasn’t actually looking for it or stumbling across it. It actually took a friend’s referral to get aware of its existence at all.
This is where attracting demand comes in. The right kind of marketing is necessary to capture the fullest share of your potential audience.
For that to fully work, though, there needs to be enough content to consume and attract repeat attention. 3DX has, by its nature and design, already drawn a lot of fans of more fantasy porn. That’s great – some truly excellent monster sex is only found in 3DX – but it leaves a dearth of attractive content for your more typical hetero porn consumers.
Addressing that will simply require more content creation. That said, if there’s more of a demand for those kinds of products through more marketing, then there’s more incentive to content creators to make that kind of porn. It’s a cyclical relationship, really, that requires more attention from one side to better hook the other.
Beyond that, the real potential of 3DX comes in creating demand that’s best satisfied by 3DX. In my eyes, this is best exemplified by VR.
VR is the next latest greatest frontier of porn, and it still has so far to go in terms of the technology and marketplace. 3DX is uniquely well-suited to offering VR porn content, and could readily be at the forefront of this marketplace. It’s one of the best ways to create demand: get in early on an emerging market and offer better content than your competitors.
As lots of people are trying VR, and will be trying it for many years to come, there will be lots and lots of typical hetero porn consumers engaging VR porn. It’s relatively easy to get their interest just by offering VR porn, whether it’s animated or live-action, decreasing any resistance or ignorance to animated porn that the consumer might have. From there, it’s just a matter of creating content that lots of people will want to consume; satisfying that typical hetero market is the obvious way to go.
As always, this requires the efforts of the content creators alongside solid distribution channels. But there’s a huge opportunity here, and 3DX creators could benefit greatly from trying their hands at it. As fans and artists of 3DX, what do you think?

May 5, 2018I completely disagree that there’s a large market for hetero 3dx. It’s not about their just needing more content. It’s about the fact that there’s literally more free hetero porn available than you could possible know what to do with. Everyday 1000s and 1000s of new hetero porn videos are uploaded to pornhub etc. If you want hetero your needs are already met more than you could possibly want. There’s even all kinds of fetish hetero, VR hetero, cosplay hetero, slime hetero, fantasy dildo hetero.
And, even if you did want hetero porn it’s infinitely cheaper to hire actors. Sure I suppose if you consider spending months learning 3d software you might consider that it’s free it just takes time but it takes SOO MUCH TIME! Usually weeks or month to do anything significant and then rendering takes forever as well where as amateur hetero can be as simple as point your phone at a couple of people and 15-20 minutes later upload your video. It’s also why we see so much sex cams as it’s just so easy to do.
Me personally I see no reason to have hetero 3dx because anytime I want hetero I can find something easily. 3dx should play to it’s strengths. It shouldn’t try to compete with hetero. That’s only going to be a losing battle.

April 12, 2018It is not about hetero, it is a about male-female.
Girls remain the same – 95% of females – are realistic. Main thing – is a human male replacement with anything. Just look at this site -anything that have a big cock is a monster or futa.
Most recent – Bloodlust – we do not have a prince, but a vampire with gigantic cock. Princess’s body is realistic.
Anael

April 29, 2018“wut” is all you got? Yes females are realistic – because they are human in general (elven, succubi. etc) just with bigger tits or asses, or different skin color – but still they are girls. On the other side humanoid males was replaced with everything – futa, monsters, slime, tentacles. etc.
If you have troubles seeing my point just imagine G4E with guys, each with tits and pussies. Get it?

April 9, 2018I can only agree with those saying most guys in 3dx have been butt ugly. Personally I feel it could be because many artists are also butt ugly and dont want to portray a male as good looking (jealousy)… one example of a butt ugly guy is the hairy dude on the looks can kill shot there…
Gator3D
May 1, 2018Have you looked at my stuff? I think the dudes are attractive enough to make it plausible that the ladies want to get their freak on with them.
No idea on other artists, but I’m not too shabby lookin’ myself. I imagine my 3D guys are better looking though, most sport a 6-pack. I’m in shape, but not quite at the ripped washboard abs level.
I imagine that lots of 3DX artists are male, and well crafting 3D dudes is way, way less interesting than crafting 3D ladies. So naturally a lot will spend less time on the guys.
Anael
April 21, 2018Yeah, you’re pretty spot on with lots of the males in 3DX being ugly. Less work spent for reasons, or ugly fetish, or what have you. That stands in stark contrast to typical live-action hetero porn.

April 8, 2018Commercial male figures have always been inferior to their female counterparts.
This alone explains why “typical hetero” has never been a priority for 3D hobby artists.
Anael
April 21, 2018Alone? Nah. But the supply and demand factor is clearly present as an issue.

April 8, 2018Small communities attribute meaning to the very absence of mainstream potential that confines them to a small community in the first place.
It hurts to feel like you’re “losing” an artist, even more so to something that so many other people make, and most especially if you’re not fond of it in the first place.
The reaction, of course, is high-sodium incoherence in comment sections.
Whether that resentment is conscious, justified, fair, or even voluntary, it exists.
I like good live-action het porn, which is to say, I don’t like live-action het porn. All the guys are fuckin’ ugly; I mean, god DAMN. At least guy-on-guy stuff they bother to hire hot dudes; maybe they’re not my personal ideal, but they are recognizably non-hideous. A3D did good on that; Tristan or whatever his name was isn’t my ideal, but he’s definitely not unattractive. Apart from being a total twerp, I mean, but that’s men in general for you, and at least it’s kind of cute in a naïve way. By the time they’re grown, all the collagen’s dried up and nobody’s interested.
As long as fans feel safe that they’ll continue to receive their “normal” dickgirl dose, they won’t mind; it only becomes a problem when they think they’re losing what they came for (and to) in the first place.

April 7, 2018Why does slice of life filmmaking rarely make it big in the box office? Because it’s fucking boring and easy to find in daily life. To the extent that 3DX expands the possibilities of what porn can be, to use it to make regular hetero porn is just wasted potential.
Anael
April 21, 2018Live-action hetero porn isn’t what most people find in daily life, truth be told, and is still consumed more than any other porn variety out there.
The potential for 3DX to run with hetero porn in interesting ways is pretty significant, actually – but obviously that won’t appeal to everyone.

April 6, 2018VR the next step? I’m still waiting. Projects like G4E, Brittany and Bloodlust shouldn’t be difficult to render in VR compared to the rig and calibration that needs to be done for live action.
If you ever get into VR, please render several pov, all characters available in 1st person, on top of having a 2nd/3rd person pov.
Why is it taking so long to get into VR? Once the framework for vr is done, all you need to do is apply it to the renders.
VR releases would be great to have released in the very long periods you have between projects.
Please make it happen!
Anael
April 21, 2018There’s a number of issues with the switch to VR currently, but the industry will definitely be exploiting it to the fullest extent.
Guy That
April 5, 2018I understand where you’re coming from here, but I feel to give my opinion. I actually don’t ever think hetero porn will ever gain significant traction in 3dx. Mostly because people who primarily want that already have it in real life hetero porn. There isn’t much of anything that 3dx can offer that can’t be done with regular hetero porn. Especially when you consider the high rate of piracy of most 3dx works and the fact that there aren’t a lot of artist who do hetero 3dx stuff.
Also, like you mentioned, one of the main attractions to 3dx porn is more often than not the fantasy of less than popular porn genres (Futanari, monsters, etc.) I think that this could actually prevent people who would otherwise be interested from a pure stigma stand point, but that’s a whole other issue. In the end, I wouldn’t be opposed to hetero porn becoming more prominent (despite the fact that I care for exclusively futanari porn.).
I would be interested in hearing from 3dx artist that do straight porn about their thoughts and if it’s fruitful venture as an artist.

May 1, 2018Fruitful? Maybe. I really don’t know. I do alright, but it’s not my day job. And if I were in it for the money, I would just get a part time job at Starbucks because I would make more. 😐
It’s hard to say why. I do see my stuff is getting pirated BIG TIME. If I got just a single-digit fraction of sales of pirated copies I’d be doing way better. It’s hard to say without coming across as vain, but I think my stuff is on the same level as many other artists. I don’t know sales figures of other artists, but I assume my comics sell lower than others here. But I do straight stuff and not futa or dickgirls, and as mentioned that content sells a lot better here.
I see the futa and dickgirl fetish being so prevalent here as being a self-sustaining loop. This site features futa and dickgirls, so those content artists are attracted here. If an artist doesn’t start out that way, they may try producing it to boost sales and when sales multiply then there is a big financial motivator to continue down that path.
Certainly the interest is out there for straight stuff – just look at video gaming with some games having millions of downloads of nude mods, or the demand for naked pics of popular female video game characters. However, the straight content takes a back seat here, which is quite reasonable as it’s not A3D’s bread and butter. But I think that can deter straight fans looking for straight content. So in the end, you wind up with both positive and negative feedback loops:
Higher – More monsters, futa & dickgirl content & sales encouraging more futa & dickgirl content.
Negative – Upfront monsters, futa & dickgirl content turns away users seeking straight content.
And to be sure my post isn’t misconstrued – I don’t mind futa & dickgirl content. It’s just my thing. It should be obvious it doesn’t bother me as I’m here. 😀

April 13, 2018How about Straight Shota porn? I like Straight Shota (Older Woman has sex with Boy/young males) and its….not so glad seen in our Society, so its a good Base for “Fantasy” Porn. The only Porn that comes this far until now is one of the Dossier episodes by EpochArt (if im not mistaken), where Lara Cruz is perfoming Karate or some other sort of Asian Martial Arts. The Sensei and the young Student fight her and she has sex with the both of them. Im not into Monsters (unless its tentacle, but no orcs or stuff like that), so i would welcome such a Media.
And for the rest of the Hetero Porn, all i can say that it was (for me) a fresh Change to see a Male fucking a female (Bloodlust) and would see a couple more of them.
Dustin
April 7, 2018My thoughts exactly. Straight porn is ubiquitous and more specialized porn is rare (and some can only be made in 3DX). That is capable of drawing a higher demand from individual viewers than something as general as straight porn.
You made straight 3DX, –> Ok, cool. That goes on the pile with all the other hetero stuff from PornHub.
You made futa 3DX –> Ok, that goes into a much smaller pool of stuff I can’t get anywhere else.
That being said, this is a somewhat disingenuous argument. About 50/50 of SFM porn is hetero pairings of a generic male and some video game character. There the fetish is in being able to imagine yourself fucking the video game character. But if you put some original 3DX characters without a lot of sentimental value in front of me, there better be something special going on.

April 5, 2018Creating the market for the content demand seems to be a stumbling block for 3DX’s growth. Patreon and Tumblr continue to have their legislation problems . Finding a tolerant country to register your company in must have it’s problems. Affect3D has done well so far. It would be political suicide for any member of any government to fight for the rights of 3DX. Under the table, between the cracks, in the dark back room of any society’s canvas is where it is doomed to stay. At least in 2018. Internet piracy continues to be a major bummer for any developing artist or distributor trying to make a fair dollar from the medium. So much porn of every sort is free.. But art? Here is where we must truly decide as a consumer do we support 3DX for it’s porn value or it’s unique artistic statement.
Anael
April 5, 2018Yeah. That’s one of the bigger problems surrounding the erotic everything industries, and it’s a damn shame that people are so shamed by what they like.

April 5, 2018Ah yes, still banging on the “how can we appeal to other people by making vanilla stuff while sidelining our long time fans” drum affect3d? I guess the less than warm reception of Bloodlust: Cerene hasn’t deterred you from wasting 1.5+ years long development cycles on things we can see in greater variety for free on Pornhub.
I’m here for girl on girl action with “real meat dildos”. If someone like Affect3d could release 10-15mins of quality animation each 2-3 months I would say fine, bring on the dudes doing ladies. But that kind of effort will take a 3dx team a lot more. Meanwhile the real life porn studio has released something like 237 titles and one of those had what it took for me to already jerk it.
I don’t think the technology is here yet for you to compete you real life porn.
Affect3d has been doing a lot of this how can we be more mainstream spiel for some time. How about you try to keep the customers you already have and who know what they want from you?

April 7, 2018You act as if bringing in more audience through a wider variety of content would be a bad thing. The amount of artists contributing to the store is always growing, while the audience has not grown as much in comparison to that. And most of the artists are doing futa content, you just have to look around the 3dx discord to realize that quite easily.
Futa is a niche of a niche and the audience is not as big as you might think. Bringing in more audience who are interested in various genres will only benefit the store as a whole and by that I mean the audience AND the store and its artists. For the artists it will translate into more sales, which in turn will keep motivation high to produce competitive content at good quality – for the audience.
Newfound fans of 3DX will probably not be superfans of futa in the beginning but you can be sure that some will take an interest in it by being more exposed to it. Thats is almost inevitable as long as they are not completely put off by it altogether. So I really cannot see how anyone can view it as a bad thing or even some kind of “plot” or even an offense from A3D towards longtime fans. Believe it or not, there are also longtime fans on A3D that are not futa-only fans…
Try to see it from the other side of the pond for a while. As an artist you might actually feel forced to produce futa content in order to not loose income, because futa sells roughly 3 or 4 to 1 compared to non futa. I know a few who feel that way and they would rather have a balance between those sets instead of almost doing futa all the time. If you would like to be treated fairly, you should also think about both sides of the equation and not just your own view.

April 6, 2018Ah yes, the return of the ‘lets make up some bullshit in order to justify my conspiracy and moan about a single project that broke from your rather selective preference.
I wonder how far up your own ass you must be… So far that youve looped around and back up a second time?

April 5, 2018I don’t think Affect3D is more interested in hetero than dickgirl, and besides, it’s up to each individual content creator to decide what they want to make.
I’d like to see 3DX become more popular in total, across genres, and so this thought-piece. I don’t want to see any less dickgirl content coming out on 3DX – I certainly can’t find much of that elsewhere!

April 5, 2018This is just an editorial pondering the topic, please don’t misconstrue it as a propaganda piece trying to convince you to swallow a previous or future boy x girl title. We don’t have another hetero title in the pipeline (and we likely won’t again until we’re in a place where we can have multiple productions in progress at once) so there’s really no reason for us to sell you on the idea of boy x girl 3DX since we’re not making any anytime soon. We publish editorials, wherein which our writers consider various topics. That’s all this is. Don’t worry, you’ll have a new girl x dickgirl title soon. =P
Jay
April 5, 2018I know some didn’t like Bloodlust due to Boy x Girl but I liked it. I see a lot of negative comments about but did it really do that badly that a sequel is not planned?
I come to 3DX to see perfect looking woman in interesting settings like in Bloodlust. Seeing Cerene bought to life with Marie voicing her is something you can’t really find elsewhere. So there is reasons for people that prefer hetero porn to choose 3DX although I have no idea if there’s many people willing to pay for it like I do.
Marie Fasolt
April 6, 2018We would definitely like to do a sequel with Tristan*, but our goal at present is to work toward having multiple productions going at once. Dickgirl content is our biggest seller so we want to ensure our dickgirl fans always have a new A3D title in the works to look forward to. So if have two productions going simultaneously, the second production has the freedom to be a different gender pairing (though may frequently be dickgirl anyway =) ).
*Miro and I have tossed around the idea of how to use Tristan in the future. First, if and when he comes back, we’ll probably write some offscreen events into the story to justify a shift in his personality and appearance. We’d like to grow him up a bit, because he’s quite childish in the first Bloodlust and while a lot of people hated him, I think he can be salvaged in the span of a short story. Second, we’d like to play with the pairings. So in scene 1 and 2 we might see Cerene tormenting Tristan, then in scene 3 and 4, we could see Sophia getting down with two succubus dickgirls. The alternative to bringing Tristan back, but still having a boy x girl pairing in a future title is to just make a new male character with more desirable qualities. Overall we haven’t written anything down yet… We just want to get the dickgirl DLC out and then we’ll go from there =)

April 20, 2018You create the fanbase that you have, you started off with basically just futa and no knows that you have even attempted something else so it’s not surprising that the one male x female title didn’t sale. But the other issues with that title was that the male was unlikable and it emasculating with the whole futas have bigger dicks than the men in this world and are inferior to futas.
Male on female 3d does very well actually and isn’t even rare, you just have to avoid being generic. If you guys want Male on female 3d that will get attention then you would have to make a likable male main character and make a variety of non generic women for him to fuck. Look at all of the male on female monster girl games on patreon like monster girl island that is doing extremely well. If you guys were to make something like that, an adventurer who is likable and doesn’t come off as pathetic going to fuck monster girls. The male on female titles would gain traction easily as people realize that you’re creating for people that like hetero stuff instead of just futa. But as it stands right now you guys have basically scared off all of the hetero people with the whole futadom focus and the one thing that wasn’t futadom came off as emasculating.

April 6, 2018As I said in my reply to Jay above, if and when Tristan returns for some action he’ll be a lot more likable. At least personality-wise, I can’t do anything about him being a dude if someone just hates dudes on principle. That said, I have joked with Miro on more than one occasion we should turn Tristan, unwittingly, into a girl.

April 6, 2018Dudes are fine actually, Tristan is just depressing though. Well he IS pretty fit, I give you that, but other than that? Also, everybody looks like that nowadays (apart from me obviously). You’ll have to come up with something really impressive if you want to make HIM more likable (a montage would be very much appreciated by the way). Good luck! 🙂

April 4, 2018I’m of the opinion that in order for 3DX porn of any flavor or fetish to be “successful” (in the commercial sense), it needs to engage the passions of the audience who are watching/buying that content. It’s kind of obvious that has to be the case, once you’ve said that, but it doesn’t make it any less true or important a factor to consider.
A LOT of 3DX content tries to in effect hack or otherwise short circuit the way to engaging those passions by offering relatively extreme material and fantasies. In my opinion, this is where a tremendous amount of the appeal for futanari and monster sex and the whole “beauty does it with a beast” side of things comes into play (and that’s before getting to the gang rape, dominate until broken kind of fare that Studio FOW has made its trademark). It’s all an attempt to reach for a cheap thrill to satisfy the audience. But a lot of these themes and fetishes functionally fall flat when you’re dealing with what amounts to a relatively “plain vanilla” boy/girl setup, especially if you aren’t leaning heavily on the common draw fetishes (gonzo size queens and using the “wrong” hole(s) as much as possible).
So where does that leave you? If you can’t plug in easy fetish fodder for your vanilla sex 3DX … what CAN you do?
Well … you have to do something that’s really difficult to do. You need to make the sexual encounter(s) MEANINGFUL. You need to give them a context. You need to use your sex scenes to develop characters, and the relationship between them, rather than the reverse of setting up the characters purely for the purposes of putting them through the motions of having sex on screen. ANYONE can make a meaningless sex video, and there are millions of such videos on porn sharing sites all over the internet. That’s not the challenge. The challenge with vanilla 3DX is to create characters and situations that the audience can relate to and sympathize with and enjoy (vicariously) … and that’s REALLY HARD to do right.
Doing hentai rape styled 3DX is dirt easy.
Doing a loving couple having emotionally meaningful sex with each other that gives the audience warm fuzzies in a way that makes you want to snuggle up with your 3DX characters and join in their love for each other is almost insanely difficult to do and get right. The sheer amount of emoting you’ll need your characters to do on screen, with the right camera angles (so it can be seen) in good lighting and done at a tempo that doesn’t make things feel “rushed” is both creatively and technologically expensive. And that’s before you get into the whole wanting/needing to tell a STORY with what you’re showing so as to tie all the content you’re offering in a context that makes your characters easily accessible and easy to sympathize with for your audience.
In other words, you’re looking at basically wanting to do what amounts to ROMANCE 3DX PORN, rather than just fetish based 3DX porn … and that’s both harder and more “expensive” to do (and get right) since romances tend to be the sort of things that take TIME to develop and follow and become invested in.
And what’s the one thing you rarely find in 3DX? Romance.
Hardly anyone making 3DX is willing to put in the time and effort to develop what amount to romantic stories featuring vanilla boy/girl pairings that are meant to be loving and therefore “meaningful” to both the participants on screen as well as to the audience watching it. After all, who has time for all the hassle developing all of that is going to take? Pay no attention that a well done seduction, even of an already established partner, is a glorious thing to see … particularly when that seduction excites the blood and fires the passions of both partners (and the audience into the bargain).
So people stick with the fetish fuel that they “know” will sell. Why do a lot of work on a big risk when you can just play it safe with yet more Poles In Holes for no readily apparent reason?
Anael
April 5, 2018The key to any ‘commercially successful’ 3DX is, the end, getting paid. Which means knowing about the tastes of *who* pays for porn, and who pays for 3DX porn.
I don’t know if the romance-porn seekers would amount to equivalent or more dollars for the content creators relative to the extreme fetish porn seekers (who don’t get to see their fetish in porn much, or at high quality, otherwise). I’d say the scarcer the content, the more people are willing to pay for it, because they have to if they want a certain quality. Finding real romance in porn IS rare, and that’s an opportunity for 3DX, but I don’t know if doing that would actually draw the necessary cash to justify it.
“Meaningful” is great, but it’s also only one audience segment in the porn pie. And it’s not the easiest market demographic to pull up lots of data on without having certain strings in hand.
IBT
April 5, 2018Granted.
But like you say, the rarer (or the more underserved) a market segment is, the more valuable content covering that segment will become, thanks to simple supply and demand. So if you can corner the market in a particular niche, that can become relatively rewarding. However, if you’re doing the same thing that everyone else is doing (because it worked for them, so it ought to work for you too), all you’re doing is competing in an already crowded space, chasing an ever diminishing share of the pie.
Also, like you, I have no idea if a romance tinged porn (of the Bodice Ripper variety?) will have a mass market audience, let alone a lucrative one for the enterprising content creator willing to try … but the simple fact is that it would appear that almost no one has even really tried. Considering what a cash cow romance novels are for booksellers, it’s a little surprising that 3DX has been more than a little slow on the uptake of trying to cash in on romance themed 3DX content. Although, to be fair, doing a romantic 3DX containing tamer vanilla boy/girl content doesn’t immediately scream jackpot at first glance, mainly because it would be something that’s harder and more complicated to do than yet another hentai rape loop.
The difference is that I have a feeling that such an audience is present … and woefully underserved. You then get into a sort of chicken versus egg problem of no one wanting to be the first to stake a claim to the genre, despite the fact that the competition for it would be next to non-existent (until someone is successful at it, at which point PLENTY of competition will rush in to grab their share of the pie that someone else is already devouring SUCCESSFULLY). So it really comes down to a question of … who wants to be first?
Consider that Girlfriends 4 Ever was pretty much revolutionary content when it was released, because nothing of that level of quality had been seen before. It opened up a new “space” in the 3DX market, which plenty of competitors have rushed to join in on exploring and exploiting (for fun an profit). Why can’t that sort of thing happen again for romantic 3DX vanilla boy/girl porn? In a market awash in fetish material and rape and all the rest of the nastiness that a number of studios (FOW) have made their trademark … why is no one reaching for the other end of the spectrum, where you create uplifting and beautiful content that celebrates loving sex and the passions it can bring out in us? To my mind, vanilla content would be the ideal genre choice to begin exploring this alternative and currently underserved “space” in the 3DX world.
Your mileage may vary, of course.

May 1, 2018Hey IBT, have you checked out my stuff?
A bit late, but it seems like a great place for a shameless plug. 😀
My stuff is straight male on female. It isn’t of the bodice ripper variety, but I do larger comics to establish some story and reason for the sex. At least more than a few frames of fighting or some sort of jibber-jabber to kick off the sex. It’s also not Shakespeare as there’s some balance – people are getting the comics for the sex after all. I’m not a good judge of attractiveness of the dudes, but I think the guys I create are good enough looking to be plausible that the ladies want to get it on with them.
My turnaround isn’t as fast as I would like, the catch to doing well over 100 pages is it takes time.

April 5, 2018It’s not hetero, but you’ll likely enjoy Puppetmaster’s future projects. He’s going episodic and with how short his production cycles are we’ll have a chance to get to know his girls and find reasons to root for them to fuck. =)

April 5, 2018Thank you for the reply Marie.
The way I see it, there are basically two ways to go with 3DX porn. You can either go beautiful … or you can go nasty … and because you can “do nasty” things in 3DX so much easier than you can with other formats, an awful lot of 3DX tends to go for getting as nasty as possible as quickly as possible. In my opinion, that’s a big reason why so many male performers/partners in 3DX look like they just escaped from a blast furnace, or are otherwise just simply gross looking … in part because it lets the male audience privately think to themselves, “well since I’m better looking than this ugly fuck, that means I’ve got a better shot with her than he does!” (as if they had any chance at all of having sex with a 3DX girl in the first place). Hey, it doesn’t have to be rational/logical for it to be the instinctive reaction.
But if you’re doing vanilla boy/girl porn this decision between beautiful and/or nasty isn’t exactly a symmetrical one, simply because the nastier you make it, the less “vanilla” your content will remain. So deliberately aiming for going full on nasty with vanilla content is basically working at cross purposes, and I would submit is something that is ultimately self defeating.
Which then leaves the alternative of going beautiful, where the point is to be as attractive as possible, on both the male AND female sides of things, rather than reaching for the all too common “beauty fucks the fugly beast” that get all too often on the nasty side of the fence. And if you’re going to do that, you want your vanilla content to wonderful and loving, rather than repulsive and/or exploitative … and that takes TIME to establish, explore and celebrate, if you’re aiming for something meaningful and also beautiful. You don’t necessarily have to pluck the heartstrings, but strumming them a few times certainly wouldn’t hurt … and that’s something we almost never get to see with any sort of vanilla 3DX.
Now, with regards to what you’re saying about Puppetmaster’s future projects, I can only hope that means that he’s got a PLAN for how he wants the relationship (sexual and otherwise) between participants to evolve and inform over time, rather than just “winging it” through every little release. That way, the events that happen in each release become part of an arc of story, which then helps to build a following for seeing that arc through while also creating a sort of “buy in” from the Collector Mentality in which the “gotta get ’em all” aspect comes into play. Follow the dictates of P T Barnum in which the purpose is to “leave them wanting more” so as to rollover demand from the past into the future and you’ll have yourself a franchise of performances that can be sold. Even doing something as simple as releasing 4-5 minutes worth of story/video every couple months for like $5 each would, over time, create the opportunity for something more akin to a “saga” of releases than any sort of One And Done with maybe a DLC (or two) later on. Build something that can be sustained and which can attract a fan following of supporters interested in what will happen next and you’ll be on your way.

April 6, 2018As a girl with a lot of female friends who frown on the porn industry, I think there’s an undertapped market in people who really would like to see two people just fucking hard, but have ethical issues with live action mainstream porn industry porn. Being a porn performer is pretty good if you’re an A-list star, but girls just getting started or who never make it big don’t actually get paid that much money ($800-1200 is a good day rate, but you’d need to be working 2-3 shoots a week to be earning more than the average corporate office worker) and there are often reports of very questionable working conditions. There’s a lot of initiative to improve the porn industry right now, but 3DX may be able to catch up as we get better and better technology.
I do think that’s the idea Puppetmaster has. He’s fairly communicative with his Patreon at the moment about what he does, and we’re working to get him a platform over here soon since he’s one of our exclusive artists.

April 5, 2018Yeah, in order to get really successful, just put some nice adjectives or verbs into your thumbnails instead of a pic of a hot girl and people will start clicking that shit like crazy 🙂
