There are times where you see an artist, whether 2D or 3D, that produces original high-quality art that you find jaw-dropping. For me, InCase is one of those artists. I’ve found him to be one of my top favorite artists due to the sheer quality he brings that I don’t see often done by other artists. He doesn’t try to stay complacent, but constantly evolves his style by continuously improving what I find to be already great. From simple pin-ups to hardcore dickgirls and even more obscure fetishes, InCase covers a lot of ground and does a hell of a job in producing fine artwork time and time again. That’s why it was an honor for us to talk with him and see how he gotten where he is now.
Tell us about yourself. Where did the name InCase come from?
Not much to say really. I am 22yo and I like drawing perverted stuff so much that I decided to make a career out of it. I don’t remember how I came up with the name ‘InCase’. I didn’t give it much thought at the time. If I did, I would not choose a name that is so hard to google.
Can you give us a bit of a background on yourself. Do you have a traditional arts background? How did you develop a passion for drawing explicit art?
The first time I remember doing any kind of drawing was trying (and failing) to draw boobs in MS Paint when I was 12. I was always a little pervert. I ‘officially’ started to draw when I was 15, and decided to take it seriously at 18. Ever since then I’ve been trying to get better by myself. I attended an art school for a while, but I dropped out after a year. It was not for me. I started drawing porn to relieve stress from working as a cashier at a supermarket (hell on earth). Soon after, I’ve started getting questions about doing commissions and… well, here I am 3 years later. Still drawing dicks for money.
What is the first thing you want people to say when they look at your art for the first time?
“Hot diggity! This is as arousing as it is technically well made!”
You do a lot of futa (which I love). What is it that fascinates you about this genre?
Dicks mostly. I think they are sexier and more versatile than pussies. You can do more with them.
But that’s not the only thing you’re known for. What else do you specialize in?
Girls with slightly open mouths looking at the viewer while raising one eyebrow. I need to work on expressions.
I have to ask this. The Absolutely Goddamn Fantastic Batman Fan Comic Special. One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen period. I want to know ‘what the fuck, dude?’
I am a big fan of Batman (and Batgirl) and I wanted to do something with them. I don’t remember how did I exactly develop the idea of making batman a whiny retard, but I guess it worked.
Do you have a favorite character that you enjoyed working on?
Batgirl and Harley Quinn. I love them both for their sexy costumes, as well as for being generally very interesting characters. I think that the better the character is outside of porn, the hotter the porn of him/her will be.
Do you prefer drawing for yourself or for an audience? Does your style tend to differ at all from one to the other?
I think I always draw for an audience. Aside from some rough sketches here and there I post everything I do somewhere. I feel that the pressure of people eventually seeing what I am creating is keeping me motivated. I want to show everybody what I can do.
What really draws me to your art is your distinctive style. It’s different from a lot of other artists, giving it its own individuality amongst the sea of art. What are the steps you take to create your art? Any tools of the trade you use?
Nowadays, 100% of my drawing is done digitally on my Cintiq. For the longest time, I used Photoshop 7, but lately I’ve switched to CS2. I tried other programs like Sai, Painter or OpenCanvas, but they don’t work for me. Photoshop is all I need. As for my style, I don’t like it that much. Something about it bugs me. But that might be just me being to critical. I am really happy that other people like it!
Do you have any advice for aspiring artists?
Pirate books about drawing now, and later buy them when you have the money. Also work on your basics. Screw style, learn bones.
For those wondering, InCase indeed does do commissions (say that five times fast). Wanna give us the lowdown about it? Are you accepting any at this time?
I diddly do! It’s pretty much my full time job at this point. Although I have a pretty big queue lined up so I don’t take any new clients right now.
What are your plans for the future?
My resolution for 2012 is to improve as much as I can. I feel that I still have a way to go before I can be thinking about any big projects. After that I want to get into comics and animation. Maybe animated comics? We’ll see.
Anything else you want to say to our dear Affect3D readers?
Play King Arthurs Gold.
Where else can we find you and your art?
It’s pretty much just my Hentai Foundry account and My blog. I have a DeviantArt account but it’s for my normal artwork. I want to keep my pornographic and non-pornographic works separate as much as I can. Both of my parents have internet and are very interested in what i do. Imagine them somehow stumbling upon my HF gallery. Brrrr.

March 21, 2012Quality work, with much attention to the details. And I’ve always been found of DC characters, both with and without their costumes 🙂
Keep rolling the brush, mate.
