Today we have a special feature image from Slushe. The artist is RenderFem who has a more simplistic and sensual vibe. This image is also accompanied by a story to give the reader a little insight on what’s going on;
I’ve mentioned before that Rada loves the evening, the winding down of a day, the light it brings, that last touch of warmth before nightfall.
We were talking one day, and she told me one of her secret pleasures.
Whenever she can, especially if she has been working all day, she will go to her room, enjoy a cup of coffee and lay naked in the last rays of the day.
No noise, no distractions, just her and the evening light. She said she will often nap that way, recharging herself like a solar-powered battery.
I thought that was the most peaceful thing I had ever heard from her.
I asked permission to quietly enter her room and take a photo of her like that. I didn’t think she would allow it, privacy is something Rada values very highly when she is not working.
I told her I did not want to intrude if she was in any way uncomfortable with showing us all something so personal to her and I was surprised when she agreed.
“I will leave my door unlocked this evening. Please do not wake me if I am asleep.” She said
“I will ask Venice to check first, in case you change your mind. Is that ok?” I asked
“Of course” She smiled and went off to get her coffee.
Venice came to me later to report everything was good to go.
“You should see her,” she said, “She is amazing.”
I took the quietest camera I had and followed Venice back to the room.
I opened the door and could not move for a few moments.
She was majestic, that figure, her beauty, bathed in a soft glowing light. Hair dishevelled, her body stretched out. She was dozing, her breast and stomach rising and falling gently with each breath.
I thought of the Slavic legend of Zorya Vechernyaya, the evening star. If I had to imagine her in physical form, it was right here before me, our own Slavic Goddess.
The image had a strange effect on the whole villa the next day. There was quiet reverence surrounding her.
Rada had shown us a side of her normally locked away. She had opened herself up to us, showing us the gentle woman behind the professional we all usually see.
It was pretty special, to be honest.
Thank you, Rada.
Looking at the image alone I’m blown away by the amount of detail. From the rug to Rada’s hair, everything looks almost lifelike. I also like the serene feeling I get when I look at Rada bathing in the moonlight. Sometimes it’s hard to create something simple yet striking at the same time. RenderFem has done both effortlessly much like the rest of their work.
