Another day, another Media of the Day, and this time we have 3DXArt for you! If you’re a fan of busty dames in Sci-Fi settings, you’re in for a treat! 3DXArt is an artist who distinguishes himself through mastery of lighting. Whereas yesterday we covered Balassa, whose compositions use a wide variety of techniques, 3DXArt offers an amazing contrast. He prefers to render in physical scenes, utilizing actual the actual geometry around his girls to tell a story.
Whether his girls are in weathered old rooms where only a few rays of sun pierce broken windows, or they’re in a futuristic corridor like here; 3DXArt always manages to bring out exactly the right tones. This goes to the greater point of what it is to make 3DX. Do you want to be a photographer type, for whom the scene is secondary to the subject? That works. But there’s a story to be told through implication as well. If you go the route of fine-tuning a girls’ surroundings, the scope of your render grows exponentially.
Make no mistake, it’s not easy to utilize an environment without it falling flat in comparison to the character in it. Every shadow cast, every little ray of light, all of it enhances the believability of the background without drawing attention to it. All this time I’ve just been talking about cold metal walls and doors and all you’re seeing is the girl! That’s exactly how it should be. But if you take your eyes off her for a minute and study the area behind her, you might appreciate how far the skillset of a 3DX artist can extend.

January 25, 2017I always liked the combination of good sceneries, phantasy setups and believable busty girls. I hope we get to see more of his work soon, a full image set. I’m beginning to miss 3DXArt too much, as well as some others, haha.
