Rock Club is yet another minor mystery amongst 3DX artists. As I understand it s/he is of Japanese origin, but there are even fewer details know about this artists since he doesn’t even have site or blog available, just their dlsite store. Of all of the Eastern artists he seems to borrow most from Western influences, particularly in terms of the realistic Western style of his work and look of his characters. This has likely how he’s earned himself a bit of a following albeit an “underground” one. He’s got 5 titles to his name which cover mostly CG work interspersed with 3D 360 rotation scenes and shorted animated sequences. The themes range from fantasy to present times settings.

The title is mostly a CG collection with continuous narration and moaning during the sex scenes by a talented female voice actor and also contains 5 short looped animations that depict some of the sexual encounters. All voice and text is in Japanese, there is no English translation, so understanding the story as good as the pictures are can be a bit of guessing game. And also given the amount of dialogue and scenes it seems an English translation could well have helped with the overall immersion and understanding of why the girl ended up in such un/desirable circumstances.

I personally find the art top notch. To a large degree this is because of the cross between Eastern and Western styles, which seems to work really well for him. This is a very nice addition to my 3DX collection and a must have if you’re a Rock Club fan.
