The Black Series.
Pinups, they are everywhere, always have been, and probably always will be. Because, there is no better way to focus on the beauty of the subject. However, one style of pinups has always been my favorite, and that is the vintage, mid 20th-century style. I am talking mainly about the ladies painted on the sides of aircraft, during World War II. While they rarely showed anything more than bare legs or shoulders, the pure sensuality of the poses is what catches my eye.
Just like MTaylorART’s images above, which show only the slightest hint of breasts, the sexual nature is defined by the grace of the figure. Of course, full nudity is always a great thing, but there is just something innocent and pure captured in these types of images. Meaning that the viewer has to use their imagination in order to visualize the rest of the model’s body.
The artist MTaylorART, (formerly known as Cabaret3D) also shares this love of vintage style pinups. So, if you want to see more, make sure to head over to their DeviantArt page linked below.
